Outline itinerary

• Day 1:
  Depart London Heathrow.

• Day 2:
  Arrival at Tokyo (Haneda), transfer to Jigokudani.

• Days 3/4:
  Two full days photographing the Snow Monkeys.

• Day 5:
  Morning photo sesion, followed by transfer to Tokyo for one night.  

• Day 6:
  Early flight to Kushiro, afternoon photgraphy at Tancho no Sato. Overnight in Tsuruimura village.

• Day 7:
  Setsurui River and Lake Kussharo. Two nights at Pension Papilio.

• Day 8:
  Photographing at Sunyu or Abashiri.

• Day 9:
  Early morning photography, transfer to Rausu for three nights.

• Days 10/11:
  Photographing Steller’s Eagles at Rausu, with one boat trips out to the sea-ice – weather permitting.

• Day 12:
  Early morning session.  Transfer to Kushiro and flightto Haneda. Stay ovenight and early flight home next day.Extension - flight to Kagoshima and transfer to Izumi for three nights stay.

• Days 13/14:
  Extension - two days cranes photography at Arasaki.

• Day 15:
  Final visit to Arasaki, transfer to Kagoshima airport. Overnight near Haneda airport.

• Day 16:
  Early flight to London Heathrow, arrival at 10.00 a.m. Tour ends.
